If you are looking for a quiet location but not too far from major city's then this is the property for you. It is located in a small village but has all that you require, ie shops, hairdressers, bakery and several pubs. We would recommend that you hire a car to get about though.
The property is of excellent standard and as stated is like a home from home. No need to take travel iron's, hairdryer etc as this is all provided. This is the first time we have ever booked a holiday let and I cannot fault the owner Jan in any way. She had given us so much information regarding the area and the booking was so simple and hassle free. The property was very clean and well maintained.
During our stay we visited some local towns & villages and even found an Iceland Frozen Foods in San Javier which is useful for people that don't want to try the local food. I found driving around so easy as the roads are well sign posted and if I can't get lost then no one can. You are only driving distance from Murcia 20mins, Alicante 35-40mins, and Benidorm is just a bit further a field. I will definately be returning and would highly recommend this property to friends and family. Next time I go I will be wanting to fenture out further maybe to Valencia or Barcelona. Thank you to the owners Jan & Paul for all you help and making us have such an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Pat Mike June & Roy had a lovely holiday at the apartment in San Cayetano. It was an ideal size & everything was to hand. We did quite a bit of our own cooking & found all we needed was there.

I have been to this apartment a few times now, at varying times of year, and it has always been a very enjoyable break. The location is peaceful, but within reach of the local village shops. There is a bakery in the village that sells delicious fresh bread and cakes daily. A short drive from the apartment is Los Alcazares where there are beaches, restaurants and further shops. We enjoyed Los Narejos beach, which has a quiet promenade to walk along in the sun. Bayside and La Diva restaurants were our favourites among many.
The property is spacious, and well presented, with everything you could need for a holiday provided. Definately a property we would recommend for a relaxing holiday, with amenities and attractions within easy reach

We spent 10 days here in January 2010. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, warm and comfortable.  It was nice to have a small supermarket within walking distance for daily fresh bread etc. The location was quiet but with plenty of places to visit within the day. Car really essential. Ground floor made it ideal for the less mobile. We would thoroughly recommend it

We stayed at this property with our two small poodles in October 2012. The apartment was very clean, and very well equipped, there was every thing anyone would need. The facilities close by are excellent, and the social centre is lovely. Good food, entertainment if required and friendly service. We went to the beach, and the local markets and of course had a little retail therapy in Dos Mares shopping centre. We had a lovely holiday and will hopefully return in the future."

Value: Excellent, Met expectations: Exceeded them, Recommend: Definitely, Overall: Excellent

Very clean, airy, well located, everything is perfect. We are delighted. This apartment is close to the swimming pool, village and cities. There are many small restaurants in the area and do not hesitate to travel, there is plenty to see.

This apartment was very comfortable, homely and ticked all the boxes as my wife and I like to relax and tour the area. San Cayetano is a lovely Spanish village not far from the airport. I cannot fault the directions the owner gave us to follow to the apartment they were spot on. Her description on the website was accurate. We enjoyed our stay there and will certainly visit Costa Calida Mar Menor area again

“Family holiday”

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely well appointed and equipped holiday apartment, home from home, everything was there to make it an excellent place to spend a holiday, bonus was that the teenagers were able to make use of the in house Internet.. Situated in a new complex by an old Spanish village with baker, supermarket, cafes, bars and chemist. There is also a sports complex on the site which has a cafe bar, very handy for snacks and tapas. All in all a very relaxing holiday.

Good apartment, nice location.”

The property is a short drive from the airport (15 minutes). There is ample parking.
The apartment was pleasantly furnished, very clean and well equipped. There is a small enclosed courtyard to the rear and an enclosed garden to the front. The flat opens onto a terrace in the front garden and we enjoyed sitting and reading there in the afternoon sun. We did not hear any noise from the neighbours and the area was quiet when we sat outside.
There are a number of small food shops within easy walking distance. The nearby town has a long, sandy beach. It also has a range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The owners provided a short guide to them which we found helpful.

“Peaceful, comfortable with entertainment nearby”

We have stayed in this property a few times now. It is in a peaceful location, on the edge of a friendly Spanish village. You can get basic food from the supermarket, and delicious cakes in the bakery. The pool/clubhouse is a short stroll away, and lots of space to sunbathe next to pool, and get ice-creams from the linked clubhouse.
The beach is a 10 minute drive, as well as shops, a good selection of restaurants and bars. Perfect for a evening out.
Would recommend a car, but plenty of places for days out within short drive, including the mud baths, cabo de palos for the best fish, and dos mares for shopping. Cartegana is good also if you want to visit a city. And of course, the weather is mostly beautiful. The apartment is very comfortable, and has everything you might need whether it be rain or shine! The local people are very friendly, and welcoming. Will be returning

“Home from Home”

We stayed nearly a month in this lovely apartment which was exactly as described on the website. If you want to experience what it is like living in Spain this is the place for you. The urbanisation is on the edge of a typical Spanish village which has a couple of bars, a bakery/patisserie, a small supermarket selling everything you could possibly want, pharmacy and a few other little shops. The residents of the urbanisation are extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. We ate practically all of our meals on the terrace, facing a field of artichokes backed by a small mountain range. You could spend all of your time at the apartment relaxing and walking into the village but it's worth having a car. We spent many mornings walking along the promenade at the Mar Menor with its beautiful sandy beaches. It's only 10 minutes away. We also had trips out to Cartegena and through the mountains to Puerto Mazarron where we had a fantastic lunch in a fish restaurant on the promenade. We will certainly be returning.
